Ziltoid: Destroying an institution or raising it from the ashes?
For any followers of MetalSucks.net, you're probably well aware Ziltoid has taken the helm. Now is a perfect opportunity to ask the necessary yet difficult questions. Has he lived up to the hype? A big "meh" for me so far. I was hoping to see some real poo-flinging. But at least the comments are entertaining!
ReplyDeletePretty underwhelming thus far. I'm still waiting to be put in my place and to learn just how out of touch and lame I am because of all the obscure kvlt bands I've not heard of because I am clearly not a true metalhead and enjoy terrible things that are awful.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, Ziltoid's posts have been rather anticlimactic compared to the shitstorm we were all expecting. Still, it's better than hearing about IWRESTLEDABEARONCE or Born of Osiris.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I approve, but I won't vote so in the poll because I would not be able to stand it as more than 1 day. Actually I really think that this should be a semi-regular thing for MetalSucks, but with different editors..
ReplyDeleteI agree. Pretty anti-climatic. I think it was probably built up too much. While he's great at posting one or two line comments, his actually writing was a little boring I thought. I wanted the site design to change as well. Make the red flames blue or gray or something.
ReplyDeletehonestly, pretty much everything was a let down. i did appreciate the free metal albums, and it was nice to see a real meaty interview on MS, it was honestly too overlong and the rest of it really was a huge disappointment. really, is iwrestledabearonce not a big enough joke of a band?
ReplyDeleteI didn't vote, but Ziltoid was meh. His reccomendations were cool, I didn't really like the bands though. I loved the interview but that was about it.
ReplyDeleteHe would have been MUCH better if he ripped on bands the whole day. After all, that is what he is known for. Let's petition Axl and Vince to let him have another day just to rip on bands!!!
